I have a wireless router that does 802.11g. It also does 100Base-T LAN. Now, when I want to transfer things between two computers on the same network, it is probable that the laptops will be connected to wifi before I connect them via LAN cable, and it appears that if the laptop is connected to both the Wifi and to the LAN, it uses the slower connection. I want them to use the LAN without switching off or disconnecting the wifi. Both computers running Windows 7. How can I do this? Is this even possible? I ask this because the last time I did a major transfer, I forgot to turn off the wifi on the laptop and realized after a half hour that the transfer was interminably slow.
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
